Starting Wednesday February 5, 2014 we will be hosting IYT Chat in the IYT offices from 6 – 7.  Can’t make it out, join us on Twitter with the hash-tag #IYTChat.

February 5 – Creating a path in the chaos
-facilitated by Amanda Mungal this chat is aimed at entrepreneurs and business owners who have been in a business for at least a year and are starting to get busy enough to feel chaotic.

February 19 – T4s and Tax Prep
– facilitated by Anne Cabrera bring your T4 and tax time questions.

March 5 – Networking Alone
-facilitated by Abigail Shakespeare the most common complaint we hear from business owners is that Vancouver networking is a bit cliquey and it can be intimidating to network alone.  Come and network at IYTChat and lets discuss strategies.

March 19 – Why is no one clicking on my Facebook posts?
– facilitated by Samson McCahon you have 300 followers but only 5 people saw your post?  This has everything to do with Facebook’s internal algorithms to encourage you to pay to get your fans and friends to see your posts.  Come discuss strategies with Samson.

April 2 – The Taxman is Calling
– facilitated by Eugene Chong Accounting – bring all of your tax questions – Eugene will be ready for you.

April 16 – Your Business and the Law
– facilitated – TBA – now’s your chance to pepper a lawyer with your small business questions.  Remember this is a group chat; but feel free to book an appointment with the facilitator for private concerns afterwards.

April 30 – Human Resources – is it time to hire?
– facilitated by Samson McCahon – discuss what needs to be in place before you hire someone and receive some tools for streamlining the process.

May 7 – Is your business ready for your vacation?
– facilitated by Amanda Mungal – perhaps you take vacation every year with trepidation or perhaps you’re wanting to plan your first vacation, what needs to be in place so that your business is still running when you get back.

May 21 – Hosting an event – where to start
– facilitated by Abigail Shakespeare – perhaps you have an anniversary coming up or want to throw a client appreciation event – come an get some tools on where to start and brainstorm some ideas with Abigail.
